For land
She stretched her cloak
To the four corners of the kingdom
But she would inhabit the space
Of her original request only
After the king found his heart
To grant her sacred ground

Advent Flash
When did advent go by in a flash? The rush grips us and flushes us out of the road called advent. Waiting is a nuisance. Why wait for Christmas when you can have all of it in November? It, meaning the deco, the special offers, the trees, the glitter and the music? Silent night premature on first of advent? In a flash time will go by and Christmas truly arrives. Will we lie down exhausted, overfed, bored, unnerved and grumpy under the tree on Christmas morn? O, could I be free to celebrate nativity and its gift just on the day, shed the clutter of gifts, expectations and turkey traditions for one moment of true love. To see a child smile that day would be magnificent. A child born anew in our hearts.

Whose fault is it?
Faults. They are pushed around. Blamed on someone. Brushed under the carpet. Taken lightly. Ignored. Taken on or over. They are a whole spectrum, from feeling to mind-set.
Their roots developed from conscience. The absence of conscience is of yonder matter that darkens the world. Wherever you look nowadays people are to be blamed. Whose fault is it? The spearing question calling for a target. Yet, if we prove our conscience, we could find a good few faults. That’s the destiny of being human. And the chance to overcome all the same. A grown up conscience can admit to faults. That’s were forgiveness begins.
In every relation, between persons, families, friends, regions, religions, counties, countries or continents, there are possibilities, of wrongdoing and of the conscience to overcome faults by forgiveness.
Still, it boggles minds and entangles feelings if we see others without obvious conscience, never admitting to faults, ignoring peace and understanding.
This is the exclamation mark to sift our own conscience, to adjust our being to become more human every day.

9/11 ON MY MIND
Your mind believes in a certain view. You see what you want to see. What you don´t want to see is never happening. Or this is what your mind tricks you to believe in.
Minds can be formed from infanthood. A wide angle motivates own choices. Different points of views create understanding, perceptive decisions, insight and wisdom. A narrow mind conditioned to believe in a single point of view can be triggered as a weapon. History proves that for all of us to see. Unless, you don´t want to see. Atrocities, wars, acts of terrorism are done from a self-conscious, righteous point of view by minds encased in power. Where minds are not grown into social, empathic, rational and feeling entities they take power as substitute for belonging. Any other mind that urges in the same direction is their brother in arms, spreading dread, destruction, death.
Sift you mind for thoughts of classification, racism, judgement, rejection and exclusion. It is a challenge to embrace in face of savage forces.
What is your mind believing in? Your choice can change the world!

Understanding
You hear when you listen. You have to listen to understand. There is a focus needed, an active impulse to acknowledge.
Words want to be heard. Babble may be overheard. You can listen to both, yet personal communication starts in listening to words of a counterpart. You might be stimulated by listening to chatter. Nevertheless, you are truly seen by someone listening to what you wanted to make heard.
You are listening to someone you see or picture in your mind. You are listened to by someone who cares whether you are seen or by virtual communication.
In true understanding we carry a picture of our vis-à-vis in our soul.

Trust
The house feels better with you in it. Your movements resonate. I listen to the noises from above, the Chinese lampshade still my companion in sickness. Coughing and sniffing test my patience. I will prevail since I know you come back.
How do I know you come back? Why wouldn’t you? This sheet of trust is made of neverend fabric. Only the experience of broken trust can strengthen you to trust once more since you trust your own senses again. Those vibes, whims and hunches you were honing as a child. Your bloodline gift. It could not be taken from you.
Brokenness heals with renewal of trust.

Explore, not exploit! Admire new discoveries, let them be, for the desire to have might destroy them. We are on a timeline that will be terminated by the unknown. We decide who we will be in the time being. We have what we have as long as we live. We are more than that. Explorers of the mind, wayfarers of the soul. Our endeavour is enriched by companionship, kinship and belonging. To ride the waves of the seas is to be shared and noted. To trek towards farther shores, jungles, deserts, riches and rocks is an ancient pilgrimage. It is meant to enrich the horizon of the wanderer.

Cold water and time dissolves dried blood. Rowan dashes disappear. Translucent, invisible now what was crimson not long ago.
The red hot life is fragile. Spills of energy, outbursts and velocity cannot persist. Yet, the gentle still water can. It takes our sores away, the stains, the splatter of ignorance. When the blood is watered the spell is broken.
Innocence persists in mysterious ways.

hope sparks found above grounded angst
There are moments of glimmer. Hope sparks. They arise unexpectedly from soul touches.
You are bound by many things yet your mind roams the realms without boundaries. Your spirit is heightened by simple gestures. Words of gentle tones. Smiles of a beloved face. Lift your own countenance up so ancient angst can glide off. It may linger yet grounded it will never reach the levels of raised appreciation.
Found hope sparks heal broken shells.
