Fall

A season can have different faces. It can be misty and grey or display the warmest colours. When we walk in the bright day, colours flash at us from rustling branches. Gems of lemon, orange and marsala. Till the wind shakes them and ruffles their last resistance into oblivion. The fall has arrived. Fall with leafy notes strewn about, the last reminiscence of autumn. Gems of fragility, keepsakes for the long wait. The barren land will soon withdraw colour. We should pick it in abundance, the fall before winter.

Threshold

Once I thought to escape winter by moving northwest.

The mildness was then a relief to my worn frame.

Not anymore. The winter followed me afoot.

Is it attached without a chance for coincidence?

Why would the seasons be aware of a single soul?

Tis´ my yearning for spring animating winter´s cloak.

Did I not see the first lambs springing hither and fro?

Philosophical exploration

Explore, not exploit! Admire new discoveries, let them be, for the desire to have might destroy them. We are on a timeline that will be terminated by the unknown. We decide who we will be in the time being. We have what we have as long as we live. We are more than that. Explorers of the mind, wayfarers of the soul. Our endeavour is enriched by companionship, kinship and belonging. To ride the waves of the seas is to be shared and noted. To trek towards farther shores, jungles, deserts, riches and rocks is an ancient pilgrimage. It is meant to enrich the horizon of the wanderer.
